Wehrpass of 'Oberleutnant' Herbert Hermann who served within severla different units before ending up within (Pz.Jg.)Gren.Rgt.848 of the 282.Inf.Div.Hermann was trained in the use of the 'P.B.-Panzerbüchse' ,among other weaponry.Hermann was awarded the EK II ,the 'Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen' ,the EK I ,the BWB and the 'Deutsches Schützwall-Ehrenzeichen'.Besides the fact Hermann was of a very brave officer ,the entry of page 34 is very unusual as Hermann was wounded due to 'Zersplitterung des linken? dürch Kolbenschläge' (fragmentation of the left ? by rifle butt hits)!!!!!!Hermann was KIA on 12-8-1943 near Belgorod.This great Wehrpass comes with 2 letters of condolance ,Hermanns 'Reisepass' and 2 photos of Hermann.
