You are bidding on an EXTREMELY RARE example of WW2 German Luftwaffe Reflexvisier Revi C/12D Gunsight Mount, Fl. 52108-1!This Mount was used specifically in earlier aircraft such as the Me109 E-F, Me110, Fw190 and others!The Revi C/12D was manufactured between 1939-1943, and was used until the end of the war.This gunsight entered production to specifically target the Supermarine Spitfire.The aiming reticle was made in such as way that a Spitfire would fit the aiming circle from edge to edge at 300m, and each increment marking represented 6 mils.This was the main sight the pilot or gunner used when sighting targets (aircraft or ground).Made of aluminum, and steel, this is a SUPERB relic item!The aluminum features some very slight calcification as you can see in the photos…but it should clean up quite well.The part number is clearly stamped into the bottom, indicating, Fl. 52108-1. Some corrosion on the knob.Wouldmake a PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or simply as a conversation piece!
