M35 Army (Heer) reissue single decal steel helmet NS62

M35 steel helmet, reissued example ca. 1942. This helmet, was factory reissued during the war, receiving a new thick rough field green layer of paint and a new decal. The decal is a textbook example that I like to see on reissued helmets, being produced by Methner and Burger (Grey lined eagle). The previous decals remain visible under the rough paint. The helmet is complete with its 1940 dated liner. The leather itself is supple and remains in very good condition. Shell markings are not visible due to the thick sand mixed paint, but I belive to see NS62 and lot number 910. A nice army combat helmet!
