Australia Pre-Federation Artillery Yataghan Bayonet

A very good example of the Artillery Yataghan Pattern. The bright clean blade with makers mark 'Reeves' and no ordnance inspection or proof marks. These are indicators of an Australian issue bayonet. MRD 20mm. Overall light pit and stain to the pommel and cross guard. The cross guard stamped 'H 173'. Original pressed fibre chequered grips and working locking stud. Comes with its all steel scabbard with matching number 'H 173'. The scabbard with some usual dents but fits perfectly to the bayonet.
