Rare Luftwaffe FL23883 Laco Durowe Beobachtungsuhr

Rare Luftwaffe FL23883 Laco Durowe Beobachtungsuhr in excellent condition. This is a textbook example in exceptional condition. The mechanism is manufactured by Laco Lacher & Co with the case produced by Durowe indicating Deutsche Uhrenrohrwerk. The dial is approximately 55mm in diameter, the case measures 62mm. This is really, a large timepiece.The piece is still running a reasonable pace keeping the time in the short period I have tested it. The piece is in virtually unworn condition, still retaining the ink marking to the back of the housing. Externally there are no scratchs markings of the piece being opened in a incorrect way; nor is there any wear points to the metal finish.These watches were worn by Pilots and Observers. They were issued prior to flight and returned after return. These were not watches to be worn by the airmen when not flying and are very hard to acquire.The piece is complete and would be very hard to upgrade, a choice piece that would be very hard to upgrade!
