Unit Marked Imperial German Model 1871 Bayonet by Wilhelm

The blade of the bayonet is generally clean, showing typical spots and surface grime as well as a gray cast. The ricasso is maker marked by the firm of Wilhelm of Suhl. The spine of the blade bears the imperial cypher of Kaiser Wilhelm together with the date of '75'. The guard of the bayonet is unit marked '120 R. 15. 241:'. The brass grip as well as the guard exhibit an uncleaned patina. Overall very good condition.
