A scarce original end of the First World War period tribute badge 'For Voluntary War Work In India 1914 to 1919', oval blackened brass title surround, the fretted central device depicting the 'National Flower of India' a Lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) in silver coloured floral decoration. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings.Height approx 32mm.
