Original Luftwaffe Postcard

Original Luftwaffe Postcard-This postcard shows an image of an air raid battle by the artist Ron Hess. It appears that this may have first appeared in the Luftwaffe magazine 'The Adler' and then became a propaganda postcard. This image is beautifully illustrated in black and white, with a blue tone to it. It shows three British airman attempting to escape from a German air raid on their aircraft. The caption on the reverse reads 'German air attack on British military aircraft'.This postcard measures approx. 5 ¾ inches tall (14.6cm) and 4 ½ inches (10.79cm) wide. The reverse is setup in traditional postcard style, there is no stamp. This remains unused.
