Description
Very nice and well-preserved Deutsches Reich Arbeitsbuch issued to Franz Maik, born 3 October 1897 in Kaag, Kreis Feldbach. The booklet retains its original red-brown cover with Reich eagle and shows light, honest period wear. It was issued by the Arbeitsamt Gleisdorf on 8 January 1941 and contains clear personal details, official stamps and signatures. Maik is recorded as a Landwirt (self-employed farmer), with employment noted from 1 January 1930, reflecting his agricultural profession. The document includes the standard printed regulations and Austrian supplementary pages following the Anschluss period, adding regional interest. The Arbeitsbuch remains largely clean and complete, with only minimal entries, making it an attractive display example of a civilian Third Reich labour document connected to the agricultural sector. A solid and affordable original piece, ideal for collectors of civilian documents, Reich labour administration material, or those specialising in rural and Landwirtschaft-related history.
