A scarce original First World War period 'Holman Brothers Ltd Engaged On Government Work identification badge' crowned gilt circlet inlaid with red and blue enamel, the centre depicting a white scroll 'HOLMAN BROS Ltd', the reverse impressed with early maker's details 'T. Fattorini Bolton' and 'Reg.638232' a registered, design and patent date of 1914.
