Imperial Bavarian Iron Cross Stein

The pottery stein is approximately 5 inches tall, exclusive of the figural thumb lift. The stein shows age but it is without chips or cracks. The stein displays Bavarian crests which flank what appears to be a 1914 Iron Cross Second Class. The stein bears the designations of 'Fur Treue u. Kameradschaft' ('For loyalty and comradeship') and 'Krieger u. Soldaten-Verein' ('Warriors and Soldiers Association'). The lid bears the engraved monogram of 'F.T.'. The base bears an incised monogram, likely the initials of the creator of the stein. Overall very good condition.
