WW1 Woodbridge District Volunteers Numbered Badge Suffolk

A scarce original First World War period ' Woodbridge District Volunteers badge', gilt brass Victorian crowned red enamel strap, Heraldic Terrier style dog on torse to centre on white enamel ground, bearing small cross decoration; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'VAUGHTONS' and official issue number '417'. Good condition, complete with original early style round buttonhole fitting, minimal defects to the enamel.Height approx 41mm.
