Description
Nice and early M40 Luftwaffe helmet in good condition. Started its life as a single decal example. Was camouflaged in white for a winter offensive. The white paint – or white wash – a chalk mix paint was removed after the winter offensive, en most likely some pieces of the decal were removed as well in that process only leaving the outlines – where the laquared boarden was open. Complete with original liner in good conditon. Draw string present, size marked 57. Shell markings Q64 – 4933.
