Austrian Model 1854 Lorenz Jager Carbine Bayonet

Original era manufacture. Massive polished steel bayonet which measures 23.5 inches in length. According to Jantzen page 6, figure 1', this bayonet is similar to the Augustin Carbine bayonet but with a helical-type slot. Very clean for its age, light amount of age staining.
