German WWII Feldpost Christmas Card 1940, IR 317

Original period manufacture. Likely a unit made card with a period inscription and stamp cancellation on the reverse. Feldpost number 12338 was assigned to the 317th regiment in 1940. Christmas 1940 the division was performing security duties in the Eifel border region. The divisional emblem in the upper left corner was used by the 211th Infantry Division.
