German WWII Short Model Dress Bayonet by Eickhorn-This is a very fine example, with nickel silver plating on the hilt and crossguard that is mostly in place. This has the red felt in the slot which means that this bayonet would be worn by an artillery man. The mortise button is a little stiff but will work. The black bakelite checkered grip plates are very good and show only light wear. Th brown leather buffer is in place under the crossguard. The scabbard shows wear but retains the majority of its black finish. The lug or clip is missing on the scabbard, so please be sure to look closely at the photos. The blade with the Eickhorn logo is in good condition. Overall, this is in very good condition, despite the missing lug.Online checkout is not supported for edged weapons.
