German WWII Infantry Assault Badge, Silver, Assmann 2, Project

Original period manufacture. Zinc badge with most of the silver wash remaining, typical Assmann casting marks on the reverse with the numeral 2 below the hinge. Missing the pin, however the hinge loops and catch are intact.
