Third Reich Julfest 1944 Presentation Plate – SS-Obergruppenführer Oswald Pohl

Original 1944 Julfest porcelain presentation plate featuring an underglaze blue excerpt from Friedrich Hebbel's'Die Weihe der Nacht', surrounded by a delicate floral wreath. The reverse is dated '1944' and bears the printed seasonal dedication 'Ihnen und Ihrer Sippe wünsche ich ein gesegnetes Julfest und ein gutes neues Jahr,' followed by the facsimile signature 'Pohl' and the rank 'SS-Obergruppenführer u. General der Waffen-SS,' identifying it as a late-war Julfest presentation piece issued under the authority of Oswald Pohl. Dated examples from the final war year are scarce. The plate retains its original hanging cord and remains in very good condition with only minor age-related wear and no visible cracks, making it a rare and historically significant 1944 Julfest example.
