Double Marked Third Reich Berlin Police Bayonet by WKC with Matching Numbers

The bayonet was cut down from an earlier Weimar era bayonet, with the blade being generally bright while showing some spots and loss of the finish, particularly towards the point. The ricasso bears the knight's helmet trademark of the WKC firm on one side, with the full firm name on the opposite side. Each of the stag horn grip plates shows a fine patina and are without damage. The grip bears an aluminum police eagle which shows excellent detail. The guard and the pommel exhibit fine detail and an uncleaned patina. Both the reverse guard and the reverse scabbard throat bear the matching markings of 'S.B. 9335', with the 'S.B.' indicating 'Schutzpolizei Berlin'. The black leather scabbard has scuffs and scratches, but it is complete and intact. Overall very good condition.
