Original Dutch Army enamel sign from the pre-1940 period bearing the inscription 'Manschappen' (Enlisted Men), intended for identification within military buildings or barracks during the mobilisation years.This elongated metal sign features a light-coloured background with black enamelled lettering in a clean, highly legible typeface. Mounting holes are present at both ends for attachment to a wall or door.The reverse retains its original dark finish and shows clear signs of age consistent with an authentic pre-war example.
