(Special Constabulary Faithful service medal)Frank.E.Saville was the Chief of the Special Constabulary in Leeds during the great war 1914-1918 & was awarded his O.B.E for these services in the London gazette 1-1-1918. He was invested with his O.B.E at Buckingham Palace 20-3-1918 and his picture was published in the Leeds Mercury the following day. He is also extensively mentioned & pictured in Leeds in the great war.GVF & mounted as worn.
