Original East German DDR NVA Verkehrspolizei helmet cover

This original NVA helmet cover is an authentic military item from the former National People's Army (Nationale Volksarmee) of the GDR (East Germany), Volkspolizei.The cover is made from a light-colored fabric and features a striking red band with a centrally embroidered emblem in the colors black, red, and yellow, combined with the characteristic DDR coat of arms. Het helmovertrek is gemaakt van een dunne maar stevige textielstof die eenvoudig over de helm wordt geplaatst en door de elastische rand goed op zijn plaats blijft zitten.Dit exemplaar verkeert in gebruikte staat met lichte verkleuringen en enkele kleine vlekjes, maar het stuk blijft een interessant verzamelobject voor verzamelaars van DDR-, Koude Oorlog- of militaire uniformstukken.
