Original 1945-1949 Dutch-Indies 'Indisch Instructie Bataljon' insignia

This original embroidered shoulder title belongs to the Indisch Instructie Bataljon (Indies Instruction Battalion), a unit of the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army (KNIL) that was active during the Dutch–Indonesian conflict and the so-called 'police actions' in the Dutch East Indies (1945–1949).The badge is made on a green woven backing with black embroidered lettering and clearly reads 'INDISCH INSTR.
