WH (Heer) M42 SD Combat Helmet

Wehrmacht (Heer) M42 Single Decal Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M42). The stamped sheet steel construction M42 helmet retains most of its rough textured, field-grey paint. The paint shows normal wear and the left side of the helmet has a standard ET-Type Heeres decal which is retained for about 95%. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet has a M31 leather liner. The liner is size '57' marked and complete with original liner drawstring. The shell is marked with maker and size 'ckl64' which indicates production by the company 'Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG' in Thale/Harz. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number '3225'. The helmet is complete with its slightly damaged and repaired/shortened chinstrap. Nice and honest original M42 combat helmet in very good condition!
