WWII Japanese Military Maneuvers Referee Army Officer Visor Cap

Available
$345.00

Description

The cap is constructed of mustard brown wool with red wool cap band which bears the Imperial Army star. The cap band is covered with a white cotton slip-on sleeve to reflect the wearer's role as a referee during Imperial Army maneuvers. The body of the cap shows spots and a few small scattered holes. The surface of the visor exhibits typical age crazing. The interior of the cap retains the full leather sweatband as well as an orange silk lining which has a small written kanji character which is certainly the name of the officer who wore the cap. Overall the cap makes a very good appearance.
