A scarce original Second World War period 'Thornycroft 1939 lapel badge' gilt brass circular example, depicting the companies logo a 'T' within a blue and white enamel flag; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St. Birmingham' and impressed with official issue number 'S2627'. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole horseshoe fitting, no enamel loss, but with multiple surface scatches.
