A Theatre made CBI shoulder patch. Silk with embroidered stars, on a lightweight cloth pocket. Removed from uniform with age and service wear.Originally designed to help U.S. Military Police identify personnel in the theatre, it became a standard, morale-boosting insignia for all US troops in the TheatreThe patch consists of a 12-pointed white sun of the Chinese Republic and a white star of India, symbolizing the partnership, set against a blue, white, and red background.
