Japanese WWII Pair of Type 92 Field Phone Headsets

Japanese WWII Pair of Type 92 Field Phone Headsets-We have had a few of these Type 92 Field Phones previously, but they are getting harder to find! The Type 92 was the standard WWII issue Japanese field telephone, contained in a wooden case. This example however also has each phone house in a substantial leather carrier that is in great shape. A very interesting offering. This is a two set lot. One set is missing the opposing earpiece. One has a cracked ear piece, but otherwise these are in excellent condition, with all straps and pieces included, such as the flat head screwdriver and spanner. The leather carrying pouches are excellent. The wires all appear to be intact, though the insulation has frayed heavily, and we cannot guarantee that the unit is still functional. A great looking set anyway.
