German WWII M31 HJ Canteen

German WWII M31 HJ Canteen-This is an interesting canteen, as it has a blue felt covering. The wool is in very good condition, showing only slight use and minimal mothing. There is a red line of discoloration near the top of the canteen so please see photos. This has a black leather strap that is unfortunately broken. The canteen is well marked WWE38. The black bakelite cap is in place, and marked F7/S. This is, as we understand, still an unknown maker. Despite the broken strap, this canteen is in excellent condition.
