Full USA 'National Household Milk tin containing skimmed milk powder. The National Milk scheme was introduced in December 1941 after milk fell under the rationing scheme the previous month with supplies coming from the US and Commonwealth later in the war. The tin is marked 'Specially packed for the Ministry of Food' and ' USA' as well as other important information. 8oz size, in good clean condition with light marking with spidering typical of wartime tinplate to top.
