Available
$625.00

Description

The wool Ike jacket was manufactured in Australia and it is tagged as a size 36 Regular. The jacket displays the rank chevrons of a Staff Sergeant; three overseas service chevrons; and an embroidered Aerial Gunner wing on the upper left side of the jacket. Below the wing are the individual ribbon bars of multiple decorations which are sewn directly to the jacket, to include the Distinguished Flying Cross; the Bronze Star; the Air Medal, with two oak leaf clusters ( a third cluster is missing) and the Purple Heart with two oak leaf clusters. The collar carries a domed 'U.S.' disk and a flat Army Air Force disk, both clutch back. The fully embroidered patch of the 5th Air Force is on the left shoulder. The rear of the jacket displays a large American flag that was directly embroidered onto the jacket. The jacket has a small hole at the bottom of the left front pocket, and it is lacking the two lowest closure buttons on the front, but overall the jacket is in very good condition.NO CODE
