Not an ex library copy.I have just finished re-reading this tale of daring-do of a lost patrol of the Long Range Desert Group (LRDG) following an airfield raid by the Special Air Service (SAS) in North Africa in WW2. It is a quick read and the author is knowledgeable about the campaign and the LRDG and SAS in general. It is aimed at children (In past times when they had the reading bug - sadly something that appears to have been lost today) but despite this, it is still perfectly enjoyable to those of my generation (I overdosed on Commando comics so I am one to talk!Will post to a UK address only.The QuartermasterComm MaFi
