Unit Marked Imperial Prussian EM/NCO Pickelhaube

The body of the leather helmet exhibits some typical age crazing as well as spots and scuffs, but the surface and finish are generally in very good polish and the helmet displays a fine shape. The front plate is retained through two holes in the body. The front plate, the brass visor trim, the brass spike, spike plate, and the brass rear spine all show a dark and uncleaned patina. The helmet retains both the Prussian colors and national colors cockades, as well as the chin strap. The full interior liner is present, lacking the drawstring and showing some wear on the bottom edges, but being complete and intact. The interior of the rear visor has the unit marking of infantry regiment 137. Overall the helmet is in very good condition and it makes a fine appearance.
