Victorian - Boer War Period 8th (King's Royal Irish) Hussars Officer's Stirrup Slides

Scarce pair of Victorian 8th King's Royal Irish Hussars officer's horse stirrup slides.The main slides are made from heavy gauge brass and the badges of white metal (possibly silver) for officer's. these have been well polished with rubbing to the ''Maid of Erin'' Irish harps and Queen's crown above.These slides were acquired along with a pair of 8th Hussars officer's horse bridle ear bosses (listed separately) with King's crowns hence the Boer War listing.**UK sale only**
