VeryinterestingDeutschesReichReisepassissuedtoNöbbe,Folker,bornon10November1913inFlensburg.ThepassportwasissuedbythePolizeidirektorinFlensburgon22April1939andretainsitsoriginalphotographwithmultipleofficialstampsandsignatures.Thepersonaldescriptionlistshimasastudent,measuringapproximately1.68meters,withgrey-blueeyesandblondhair.Thedocumentremainsinverygoodconditionwithclearhandwrittenentriesandstrongofficialsealsthroughoutthepages.Thepassportcontainsnumerousbordercontrolstampsdocumentingtravelduring1939,shortlybeforetheoutbreakoftheSecondWorldWar.VisibleentriesshowseveralcrossingsbetweenGermanyandDenmark,withDanish'Indrejst'and'Udrejst'passportcontrolstampsdatedbetweenMayandAugust1939,aswellasGermancustomsandcurrencycontrolmarkingssuchastheReise-Zahlungsfreigrenzestamps.Theseentriesgivethepassportaveryappealingandhistoricallyinterestingappearance,clearlyillustratingrepeatedtravelbetweenthetwocountriesduringthefinalmonthsofpeaceinEurope.OverallthisisaveryattractiveandwellpreservedThirdReichtraveldocument,completewithphotographandnumerousperiodstampswhichmakeitvisuallystrikingandhistoricallyinteresting.PassportswithsuchextensivetravelentriesarealwaysdesirableastheyprovideatangiblerecordofcivilianmovementacrossEuropeanbordersinthelate1930s,makingthisaverynicecollectibleexampleofapre-warGermanpassport.
