Incredibly Rare German 1939 Booklet called 'Your KDF Car'-This booklet was created to introduce you to the new volkswagon, which was also known as the people's car. This is an original 1939 German sales brochure for the KDF Volkswagen. The KDF stands for 'Kraft durch Freude' (KdF or 'Strength Through Joy'). The KDF was a leisure organization of the party that promoted morale through vacations, cruises and festivities. They introduced the people's car to Germany. This booklet is truly a masterpiece of early automotive art with many highly detailed full-page and half-page photographs. This 32 page booklet even contains the service contract. This booklet measures 11 ½ inches (29.21cm) long by 8 ¼ inches (20.95cm) wide. There is a name written on the front cover but otherwise this is just excellent. Perfect for framing.
