Japanese WWII 7th Class Order of the Golden Kite, Cased

Original era manufacture. Silver medal with a gilded falcon. Complete with its issue case and original ribbon. The Order of the Golden Kite was a purely military decoration awarded for bravery and the only Japanese order outlawed by the Allies at the end of WWII. This particular award may date prior to WWII as the issue case is domed rather than flat.  A very nice example with lots of gilding remaining on the falcon.
