I. Webber. RAPC.)- Military LS&GC Medal. EIIR, 2nd issue 'Regular Army' bar (22606696 W.O. Cl. 2 I. Webber RAPC)Iorwerth Webber was born in Glamorgan, Wales, 20 September 1933, and enlisted in the Royal Army Pay Corps as a National Serviceman on 1 November 1951. Re-enlisting as a Regular on 24 March 1953, he was promoted Corporal on 17 November 1953; Sergeant on 24 March 1958; Staff Sergeant on 18 November 1965; and Staff Quartermaster Sergeant on 18 November 1968. He was awarded his Long Service and Good Conduct Medal on 31 October 1969, and was promoted Staff Sergeant Major on 1 May 1973. He was discharged on 23 March 1977. Iorwerth Webber is recorded to have died in Brighton, Sussex, England, 20 December 1984The medals professionally mounted in the court-style.
