U.S. 2nd Model M3 Trench Knife and M8 Scabbard 'Imperial' Nice Used Near Mint Condition

A so-called 2nd Model U.S. M3 fighting knife. Makers marked on the blade rather then the crossguard. Makers marked M3 'Imperial'on the blade.The knife is fitted with textbook M8 scabbard. Clearly marked U.S. M8, and makers marked B.M.Co. on the front of the scabbard. Fitted with original mounted leather lace. These type of knifes were widely used in the ETO and during operations such as D-Day and Normandy in 1944. A nice used and attractive U.S. 2nd Model M3 Trench Knife.
