U.S. 3rd Model M3 Trench Knife and M8 Scabbard Rare Makers Mark 'Kinfolks' - Nice Used Condition

U.S. 3rd Model M3 Trench Knife and M8 Scabbard in nice used condition with great patina. Compromising the so-called 3rd model and being makers marked on the hilt. Clearly marked U.S. M3 and 'K.I.' on the crossguard (Kinfolks, Inc.) and marked on the pommel with Ordnance bomb on the pommel. The M8 scabbard clearly makers marked B.M. Co. And marked with a laundry number on the webbing canvas. Fitted with original leather lace. These type of knifes were widely used in the ETO and during operations such as D-Day and Normandy in 1944. A nice yet light used 3rd model M3 trench knife by a rare maker (Kinfoks produced around 135,548 M3 fighting knives during the war).
