A scarce original circa 1960's period 'The Glasgow Royal Maternity Hospital midwives badge' in the form of an oval pale blue enamel title surround, the central electric blue enamel disc depicting snowdrop flowers; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1962 and maker's details 'T.F' (Thomas Fattorini) and named to the recipient 'GRACE C. WHITE'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings with safety roller catch in good working order, service wear to the enamel.Height approx 37mm.
