Scarce Victorian officers silvered cross-belt plate with plain backing plate and two screw bolts to the reverse. The Prince of Wales's plumes above the number, '3' to the centre of a crowned wreath of laurel. Possibly '3rd. Volunteer Battalion? or '3rd. Militia Battalion'?
