You are bidding on a NICE and 100% original WW2 German Luftwaffe Round Wartungsklappe (Access Hatch), as recovered from a wrecked fighter or bomber aircraft! This style was typically used on the Me109, Me110, Ju87, Ju88, and others!This hatch was located on the wing and fuselage areas of various fighters and bombers. It allowed access to various systems (Fuel, Hydraulic, Oil, Coolant, oxygen, etc.).Made of aluminum, this is an SUPERB relic piece! There is some slight corrosion, bends, and dirt from the wreck site, however it is still VERY solid.Measuring approx. 5″ in diameter, this is a VERY RARE hatch, as they usually were destroyed upon impact.Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection, restoration, or simply as a conversation piece!
