Queens (Royal West Surrey Regiment) Indian Made Sweetheart Brooch - Two Anna coins

A silver heart stamped with the regimental badge of this regiment flanked by two, two silver anna pieces on either side, one with the bust of Edward VII and dated 1910 and the other with the bust of George V and dated 1912 (partly obscured but just visible). A crossover piece between two monarchs. Sadly the pin has snapped off but the C clasp is still present. Sold as seen.As the 1st Battalion left India in 1909, this appears to have been an item made for old comrades (the 2nd Battalion were in the West Indies for these dates).Comm DaSm
