WWI Zeppelin 'L 33' Badge Made from the Downed Airship's Wreckage

Description

The handcrafted aluminum badge is approximately 1-3/4 inches long, with attached pin fastener. The badge was apparently fashioned from the wreckage of the L 33 zeppelin, which was brought down in England in 1916 on the 24th of September in Little Wigborough, Essex. Very good condition, with uncleaned patina and verdigris.
