WW1 U.S. M1917 BRODIE HELMET (1918 DATED)

This is a very nice WW1 M1917 U.S. Brodie Helmet which is complete with its liner and chin strap, the shell is stamped ZF220, also the liner is stamped A.J. Bates Co Webster Mass and dated 10-18, there is also a 13 stamp on the liner, It does look like the original chin strap broke and someone has adapted another original chin strap to the fittings, when this was done, who knows?.
