Original era manufacture. Tan canvas covered circular canteen with a stenciled U.S. on its cover. Original cork stopper with chain in the spout, with two triangular suspension loops on the sides. The back of the canteen body is concave so as to be more comfortable against the body, few shallow dents in the front of the canteen but nothing too severe. R.I.A. 1905 stenciled on the bottom of the cover.
