Boer War 'Republic Zuid Afrika' EM/NCO Buckle

The brass buckle features a separately affixed brass disk, held by two soldered rivets, which bears the letters 'ZAR' for 'Republic Zuid Afrika', as well as the motto of 'EENDRACT MAAKT MAGT' ('Unity is Strength'). The buckle shows uncleaned patina and it is in overall very good condition.
