WW2 Field Made Rising Sun Hat Badge - Possibly POW Made.

Cast in zinc like muck metal with lug reverse. Full size hat badge. It has been suggested to me ( while I cannot prove this) that it is possibly a theater POW made item. Something that may have been crudely made in a European POW camp.
