Description
Very nice and complete early-model Wehrpass (first pattern) issued to Hans Heinrich FlĂŒring, born in 1910. This Wehrpass covers his full wartime service from 1940 through 1945.FlĂŒring first served in the Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) prior to the war, as noted in the pass. He was later called up for military service and was initially assigned to a Nachrichten-Ersatz-Batterie before being transferred to Artillerie-Regiment 292, where he served for the remainder of the war.The Wehrpass contains extensive and detailed entries of his service. He participated in the 1940 Western Campaign in Belgium and France, after which he was deployed to the Eastern Front. From the available entries, it appears he remained on the Eastern Front for the rest of the war until 1945.The document lists numerous battles and operations, making this a particularly interesting and well-documented example. He was wounded in 1945 by shrapnel.FlĂŒring was awarded the Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2nd Class with swords and the Ostmedaille (Eastern Front Medal). The original award document for the Ostmedaille is included, issued on 10 August 1942 by the battery commander of Artillerie-Regiment 292.A very nice, complete Wehrpass covering the full duration of the war, with detailed entries and accompanying documents.
